Consumer Rating: yellowyellowyellowyellowyellow

For years anti-cellulite treatments have been marketed to women to cure cellulite, reduce inches, and provide an overall slimmer body physique. The Scala Anti-Cellulite pant claims to reduce cellulite and end your battle with inches of unwanted fat. These pants are actually closer to tights in style and texture, and are made to fit a number of different sizes.

About Scala Anti-Cellulite Pants

These pants work by using special crystals to heat up and target fat cells that contribute to the appearance of cellulite. Scala claims that these crystals heat and melt the fat in your thighs, buttocks, and legs. The fat will then be passed through excrement and urine, or even sweat. Somehow individuals that wear these pants never feel any heat, but do feel improved circulation.

According to the maker of this cellulite product, the pants work in a few different steps:

  1. Once the pants are on the body, they begin emitting infrared rays. If this doesn't already sound dangerous, wait until you hear the rest.
  2. The skin is then heated, but magically, the heat isn't felt by the wearer!
  3. Increased blood flow to the legs melts the fat and turns you into a sexy and thin supermodel.
  4. The fat is excreted through the body.

Our Thoughts on the Scala Anti-Cellulite Pants

This cellulite product is a joke, yet they somehow manage to sell out extremely quickly in the UK. These pants claim to melt fat cells, but you never feel any heat whatsoever. They cost around $50, and are made from a material similar to tights or leggings. Scientifically speaking, fat cells are not supposed to melt. Fat can melt, yes, but fat cells are permanent and designed to be in your body for a reason. If the Scala anti-cellulite pants do cause fat cells to melt, then that could lead to extremely serious health complications. A treatment for HIV causes fat cells to melt, and individuals that undergo that treatment often end up extremely ill while they fight off the HIV.

Very few people actually believe in this scam, but the product still sells for some reason. At $50 they aren't exactly cheap, and you probably need more than one pair if you plan to wear them 6 hours a day for 30 days.

Pros:

  • There are no pros, except perhaps that they are sold in-stores. Meaning, if they don't work out for you, they are easy to boycott.

Cons:

  • They are quite expensive.
  • The technology behind them is completely unscientific and unproven.
  • They are only sold in the UK, unless you are willing to pay outrageous costs on ebay.

Final Verdict

The Scala anti-cellulite pants are definitely not recommended. The logic behind the product isn't even substantial or viable. If you were to spend $50 on anything, you should definitely choose a product that can benefit your body significantly more. There are tons of other products out there that would be more effective in cellulite reduction.
