Rodial Body Sculpture is an anti-cellulite gel that promises results in just 30 days. Advertised to have a new fast acting formula, it claims to break down fatty deposits reducing cellulite and the "orange peel" appearance of the skin. Rodial Body Sculpture also claims to stimulate tissue drainage, and to firm, tighten, and naturally tone the skin. Its clinically proven formula allegedly reduces the hip and thigh area by up to one centimeter with daily use over a period of 2 months.

How Does Rodial Body Sculpture Work?

As with all of Rodial's skin care products, Body Sculpture contains the signature ingredient Pomegranate Ellagic Tannin, supposedly nature's most potent collagen booster and firming agent. Together with bio-marine actives, wheat protein, and caffeine, it works to break down fat cells, smooth out cellulite, and firm the skin. With just one month of use, the Rodial website claims that the orange skin appearance of the skin will decrease by up to 15%, while the appearance of the silhouette will improve by 47%. There are however, no clinical studies to prove these figures, although the website mentions that stars such as Jessica Alba and Paris Hilton swear by it.

Our Thoughts on Rodial Body Sculpture

It is impressive that Rodial has been featured in numerous beauty magazines and has been endorsed by top celebrities. However, we find that substantial information is lacking in order to give Body Sculpture a thumbs up. For one, the exact mechanism of the product ingredients is unknown. Caffeine is well known to have positive effects against cellulite. Its inclusion in the product's formulation may be beneficial but then again, we are uncertain if the amount of caffeine in each 200ml tube is enough to obtain desirable results.

Furthermore, the signature ingredient Pomegranate Ellagic Tannin, which is an active ingredient in all of Rodial's product lines, is not well-established. There are no research studies nor clinical trials that give a scientific view as to how it works and how effective it is in reducing the appearance of cellulite.

Conclusion

Body Sculpture gains prestige over other cellulite creams merely because it came from the Rodial skin care line. Endorsements from top celebrities also make it one of the more popular products in the market today. Priced at �92.98 or $150, we cannot help but think that its actually the advertisements that the consumers are paying for. There are a lot of other alternatives that can guarantee proven results at just a fraction of the price.
