Virtually nothing is known about the manufacturers of the topical gel, Cellulean. We have no way of knowing how it was developed or if the makers have any qualifications. We don't even know how the product's ingredients work together. However, there are several detailed clinical trials outlined that supposedly found Cellulean to be an effective treatment for cellulite. They do not claim that their product alone will give you a smooth body contour, but rather that you should combine their product with a healthy diet and exercise regimen for optimum results.

Cellulean Ingredients

The primary ingredient in Cellulean is Aminophylline, a topical serum that is designed to deflate fat cells. In the past, it was primarily used to treat asthma. The pharmaceutical agent, Transcutol is used to carry these ingredients directly to the fat cells in the deep layers of the skin. Cellulean is to be applied to the skin twice a day. The makers of Cellulean claim that results will be seen within 2 weeks.

Other active ingredients include Phenalalanine (aspartame), caffeine, L-Carnitine, Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, and Bladdarwrack. Some natural herbs included in the formula are green tea, aloe vera, menthol, gingko biloba, lavender, grapeseed extract, hedera helix ivy, horsetail extract, horse chestnut, vitamin E, vitamin A, and shea butter.

Cost of Cellulean Cellulite Cream

Cellulean is $70 for a one-month supply. This is fairly expensive considering that you will have to keep using the cellulite cream to maintain smooth skin, plus you still have to make necessary adjustments to your diet and lifestyle in order to see results according to the company.

Negatives

1. Besides the high cost, it is a little unsettling to use a product when you know nothing about the manufacturer.
2. The makers of Cellulean are also very close-mouthed about the return policy. As a matter of fact, you are not informed of any return policy until after you have already completed your purchase.
3. There are possible side effects to using Cellulean such as itching, a rash, headaches, or diarrhea.
4. In reading over consumer reviews, we found that most customers saw no results after several months of use. Some liked the feel of the cream, but $70 is a bit expensive for a mere body lotion!
   

Cellulean Review Conclusion

The Cellulean website touts their product as a "quick weight loss" solution. This seems like some false advertising considering that a topical cellulite cream is NOT going to melt the pounds off you. Reducing cellulite is a skin and body contouring issue, NOT a weight issue. Even thin people have cellulite. Unfortunately, there is much more that needs to be known about this product before we can affirmatively declare it as an effective cellulite cream.
